Jane Pauline McCormick, 89, died Aug. 23, at St. Luke Living Center, Marion. 

A funeral service was Friday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.  Interment followed at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington. 

Born Sept. 5, 1926, to William and Edith (Settergran) Sells in Herington, she married James E. Gillett, Herington, on Oct. 26, 1946. They had three children.

She later married Vic McCormick, Salina, on Oct. 8, 1977. She was baptized into the Lutheran Church. The couple bowled and traveled together. She was involved with Salina Drum and Bugle Corps and worked at Tony’s Pizza in Salina.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vic McCormick, daughter Gayle Gillett, and sister Betty Lee. 

She is survived by sons  James Gillett of Lost Springs and Robert Gillett of Marion; stepchildren,  Connie, James, and Larry McCormick; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 

Memorial funds have been established with Marion Senior Center or St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary.
