Jay C. Hutchison, 80, of Russell died Jan. 30 at Russell Regional Hospital in Russell.

He was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Howard to Ray and Grace (McCarty) Hutchison. He graduated from Russell High School in 1949.

He married Donna Rae Dumler in 1979. They made their home in Russell.

He was the owner and operator of Jolly J Inc. Oil Company and Hutchison Oil Company for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Donna, of the home; a son, Brad Hutchison of Russell; a daughter, Kathi Fuller of Russell; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Becky Thouvenelle; and one stepdaughter, Merceda Ares.

A celebration of life service was Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Russell with Pastor Roger Dennis officiating. Cremation preceded the services.
