Jeff Christensen

Family gathered with friends at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion for a memorial service for Jeffery Scott Christensen, 58, of Marion, who passed away Jan. 4, 2022, at St. Luke Hospital, Marion, and was laid to rest in Marion Cemetery.

Jeff’s life began on May 7, 1963, in Lawrence, a son of James and Judith (Cole) Christensen.

Jeff was a 1981 graduate of Marion High School and attended Hutchison Community College and Butler County Community College.

He worked for Lynn’s Truck and Tractor farm equipment as the bookkeeper for many years and later for Western Associates and Casey’s.

Jeff always was smiling and even as a baby had a pleasing personality. He was very artistic, enjoying ink drawing and wood-cut printing.

Jeff often could be spotted walking his dog, Jax, before moving to St. Luke Living Center.

He is survived by his parents, Jim and Judi, and his brother, Jay (and wife Kathy) Christensen, of Apollo Beach, Florida. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Alex Christensen.
