Jerry Brose

Jerry L. Brose, 75, of Herington, who worked as a commercial fisherman in Alaska and an oil field worker in Louisiana, died Friday.

A memorial service will be scheduled later. Ryan Mortuary, Salina, is in charge of arrangements.

Born October 19, 1935, in Marion to John and Ruth (O’Brien) Brose, he was preceded in death by his parents, his brother John, and his sister Patricia Dean.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Brown of Herington, and two sisters, Jeaneen and Michelle Brose, both of Colorado Springs.
