Meghan Jost of Hillsboro was a recipient of a Graduating Cardinal Newman Scholar award and Distinguished Bachelor of Science in Nursing Graduate Award on April 20 at an Academic Awards Convocation at Newman University, Wichita.

The university-wide event is presented every year to acknowledge superior performance by students.
