Judy Hein

Services for Judith (Judy) Arlene Hein, 81, who died Nov. 1 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist’s Catholic Church in El Dorado.

Rosary will be at 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.

She was born Oct. 6, 1941, on a family farm in rural Seneca, to John Bernard and Marcella Ann (Rettle) Rethman.

After the death of her first husband, Anthony Luke Brinker, she married Walter John Hein on June 21, 1997, in Marion. He survives.

Also surviving are son Kevin Brinker; daughters Shawna Pierce and Tammy Smith; brother John Rethman; sisters Doris Fairfield, Carol Karnowski, and Mary Sander; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Daughter Elaine Brinker, sisters Juanita Rethman and Elizabeth Himmelberg, and brothers Tom Rethman, Marceil Fouraker, and Walter “Pete” Rethman preceded her in death.

A memorial has been established with St. Luke Hospital Foundation.
