Ryan and Jamie Peters of Hillsboro have established conservation practices on the land they own near Lehigh. They also use no till and cover crops on their treated land. The land has 10.8 acres of grassed waterways and 4.6 miles of terraces and diversion. The Peters have also installed livestock water supply systems and a spring development in the rangeland.
