KDOT approves bids
Kansas Department of Transportation approved bids in October for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Marion County.
The half-mile of K-168 from US-56 to the southern city limits of Lehigh will receive milling and overlay at a cost of $82,707.
About 3.1 miles of US-56/77 from the Lost Springs intersection to the Marion/Dickinson county line will be paved with concrete at a cost of $3,883,356.
Pavement marking will be done on 14.1 miles of US-56 at a cost of $151,263.
The projects will be completed in 2019.
