Two area high school students received scholarships from the state and national FFA foundations.
Jackie Klenda of Centre High School received a $1,000 Jim Patry Agriculture Education scholarship from the state foundation.
Neal Kaiser of Hillsboro High School received a $1,000 Ford Trucks/Built Ford Tough scholarship from the national foundation.
Students were selected through an application process based on FFA involvements, work experience, supervised agricultural experience, community service, leadership skills, and academics.
