Kliewer is new Tabor coordinator

Miriam Kliewer has been named Lifelong Learning coordinator at Tabor College.

She replaces Connie Isaac, who retired in May after serving in the position for 20 years.

“Miriam is filling some big shoes,” said Jules Glanzer, president of Tabor College. “I am confident she will bring creativity and energy in offering excellent educational programs for the seniors in our community.”

Kliewer is a 1990 Tabor graduate with a degree in business/communications, and holds an additional degree in elementary education. She once worked at Tabor as interim bookstore manager.

“Connie Isaac worked tirelessly to build on past leaders’ work, and has created a wonderful outreach to senior adults,” Kliewer said. “I hope to bring new ideas, new energy and love for these people to carry on the Lifelong Learning program.”
