The children of Alvin and Barbara Kroupa of rural Marion are requesting a card shower to celebrate their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary.

Alvin and Barbara Kroupa were married on Aug. 1, 1964 in Pilsen. They have two children, Kelli Savage of Florence and Jamie Kroupa of Shawnee, and four grandchildren with a fifth on the way.
