Larry Wedel

Services for Larry DeWayne Wedel, 77, who died Sunday in Kansas City, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Grace Community Fellowship, Hillsboro.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. before the service.

He was born Jan. 25, 1945, to Nathan and Betty (Koehn) Wedel, grew up on a family farm near Durham, and graduated from Durham High School. He became a farmer.

Survivors include son Darcy of Great Bend; daughters Dana of Portland, Oregon, and Dara of Fresno, California; brothers Steve Wedel of Abilene, Curtis Wedel of Durham, and Monte Wedel of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Doug Wedel of Omerville, Quebec; sister Mona Koop of Abilene; and three grandchildren;

A memorial has been established with Mennonite Central Committee Relief Fund.
