Leonore Klassen

Leonore Grace Klassen, 89, of Newton, died May 20 in Newton.

Born June 25, 1920, in Keams Canyon, Ariz., to Karl and Frieda (Balzer) Friesen, she was a teacher.

On March 27, 1988, she married Elmer Klassen in Newton. He survives of Newton.

Services were Monday morning at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Tabor College President Jules Glanzer presiding.

Burial preceded services at Springfield Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.

A memorial fund has been established with Grace University in care of Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Hillsboro.
