Letter of thanks

Letter to the Editor:

We just wanted to express a big “Thank You” to Trinity Mennonite Church for hosting the Matziko International Children’s Choir Sept. 23 and 24. They were very instrumental in making possible the opportunity for students of Tabor College and also the Hillsboro school system to hear the choir’s message of hope. Thank you to the host families for opening their homes to these delightful children so they could experience some of our Kansas hospitality. May all who experienced this continue to be blessed.

Then, the Tabor College production of “Fiddler on the Roof” was great and I wanted to thank you for all of your hard work. We appreciate all of you for bringing out the different talents on Tabor’s campus. It’s great to live in a community that offers such learning and enjoyment.

And now, another opportunity to be blessed in our community. The Answers in Genesis Conference will be here Sunday at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church. Thank you to all who have worked diligently during the past year to bring this conference to Hillsboro. We appreciate you and are looking forward to experiencing it all.
