To the editor:

Hello. My name is Tyler C. I am a fifth-grade student at Napa Valley Language Academy in Napa, Calif. The reason I’m writing this letter is because my class will be doing state reports and I have chosen your awesome state — Kansas.

In my report, I will be writing about your state’s history, agriculture, historical landmarks, national parks, geography, and famous and historical people. I will also be doing a PowerPoint and oral presentation.

I would really appreciate it if you posted my letter in your newspaper, so that I can get all the help I need for my report. What I need from you and your readers are brochures, magazines, postcards, or souvenirs that best represent your state.
