TO THE EDITOR

The newspaper welcomes brief letters (generally no longer than 400 words) that express an opinion on a currently newsworthy topic. The writer’s contact information must be included for verification. Letters that contain defamatory comments, open letters, third-party letters, letters sent to more than one publication, and letters that would more appropriately be advertisements, including Cards of Thanks, are unlikely to be published. One letter generally is allowed per writer per calendar month.

Coverage appreciated

To the editor:

Thank you so much for your excellent coverage of the health epidemic and what ordinary citizens should do.

Also thanks for printing the sermons of local pastors, so we can continue to have spiritual inspiration during this time. It is definitely a time of change when we all should be kind to one another, thinking of other’s needs as we seek to do God’s will.

A line from one of my favorite poems by Christine Anders about change is:

‘When I face change, I will keep the ultimate goal in mind and do my best to help achieve it.’ If you want the full text you can find it online.
