The Hillsboro Noon Lions and Hillsboro Lions (sometimes known as the Evening Lions) both voted unanimously for the clubs to merge at recent meetings. The remaining club will be the Hillsboro Lions Club.

The newly merged club will continue many of the projects of both clubs. With a larger club, members hope to be of even more service in Hillsboro and the area.

Meetings in summer are on the fourth Tuesday each month at 6:45 p.m. in the city building. Starting in September, meetings will be the second and fourth Tuesdays each month.
