Loewen wins consecutive player of the year awards

For the second consecutive year, Hillsboro High School outside hitter Tena Loewen was named the 3A player of the year by the Kansas Volleyball Coaches Association.

Head coach Sandy Arnold was named coach of the year.

Joining Loewen as first team all-state selections were junior Danae Bina at libero and freshman Alex Ratzlaff at outside hitter.

Junior Addie Lackey was an honorable mention selection at outside hitter.
