Lorene Jost

Lorene E. Jost, 96, died Sunday at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

Services were to have been this morning at Parkview Church in Hillsboro. Jost Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Born March 28, 1918, in Radium to Roy and Ruth (Yocum) Fertig, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otto, and a son, Clinton.

Survivors include sons Steven of Nevis, Minnesota, and Kevin of Hillsboro; daughters Patricia Nuss of Hillsboro, Ruth Lawlor of Garfield, Arkansas; brothers Stanley of Staegertown, Pennsylvania, and Raymond of Ellinwood; sisters Irene Jost of Hillsboro and Velma Mae Root of Alamogordo, New Mexico; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.

Memorial funds have been established with the church youth group and Main Street Ministries.
