Loretta A. “Minnie” Sroufe, 80, of Garden Plain, died June 6, in Garden Plain.
Born Sept. 2, 1929, in Durahm, to Frank P. and Agnes (Hajek) Steiner, she was a retired Tweco machinist, Goddard school cook, and Stepanek Grocery store cashier.
Survivors include her husband, Emmett F. of Garden Plain; a son, Mark of Goddard; two daughters, Sandy Parrish of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Cindy McNeil of Canoga Park, Calif.; a brother, Eugene “Sock” Steiner of Hillsboro; two sisters, Henrietta “Hanky” Thomas of Wichita and Bernice McDowell of Hillsboro; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Garden Plain.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. Sam Pinkerton officiating.
