Lucilla Funk

Lucilla Funk, 91, died April 9 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro. She was born July 25, 1922, to Wilhelm and Martha (Richert) Unruh in Hillsboro.

She married Elmer Funk on April 26, 1945, in rural Goessel.

She is survived by two sons, Ken Funk of Dodge City and Clifford Funk of Wichita; two daughters, Viola Penner of Newton and Evelyn Hett of rural Peabody; six grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976; a brother, Orlin Unruh; and one grandchild, Calvin Hett.

A celebration of life service was Saturday at Trinity Mennonite Church, officiated by Pastor Brad Penner. Visitation was Friday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Memorial funds have been established with Trinity Mennonite Church and Parkside Homes.
