Luella Popp

Luella R. Popp, 93, died Saturday at St. Luke Living Center, Marion. 

Visitation with family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Marion. Interment will be 9 a.m. Friday at the Marion Cemetery. 

She was born Jan. 18, 1923, to Henry and Tena (Rempel) Regier in Hillsboro. She was a graduate of Marion High School.

On Aug.19, 1949, she married Ralph Popp.  She was a homemaker and also bookkeeper for Mack-Welling Lumber Yard. 

She is survived by children, Joanne Loewen of Hillsboro, and John Popp of Wichita; siblings Herbert Regier and  Marge Christensen; and two grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband and siblings  Vernon Regier, Arnold Regier, Wes Regier, and Gladys Loewen. 

A memorial fund has been established for Emmanuel Baptist Church.
