Lynn Penner

Former school maintenance supervisor Lynn Penner, 85, died April 28 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

Services were Saturday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, with interment at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

He was born Feb. 26, 1930, in Hillsboro to William and Biena (Ewert) Penner. He married Elva Funk Sept. 21, 1951, at Brudertahl. He was transportation and maintenance supervisor for Durham-Hillsboro-Lehigh USD 410.

Survivors include: wife, Elva Penner of Hillsboro; son, Gary Penner of rural Hillsboro; daughters, Linda Ewert of rural Goessel and Diane Jost of Hesston; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
