Bluebirds win tournament

Lawton Makovec won the golf meet at Marion on April 14 with a score of 90, while his brother Rhett Makovec shot his best round of the season with 98 strokes to pick up fourth place.

Lucas Hiebert finished in seventh place with a 102, Kellen Froese shot a 114 to take 10th place, and Luke Unruh finished the round with a 122.

Goessel also lead in team scoring to win the tournament 17 strokes ahead of Sedgwick.
