Man loses more than $800

Gordon Pendergraft of Marion is hoping that whoever found the money clip he lost Sunday evening at Warbird Pizza will return it to him.

The brown leather magnetic clip held more than $800.

“Nobody stole it,” he said. “I’m sure it’s my fault. I think I left it on the counter after I paid and then set it down to put two pizza boxes in an insulated bag.”

He said a group of “nice” Tabor girls and an elderly man were the only other people in the establishment at the time.

“I hope somebody returns it,” he said. “Whoever it is will get a reward.”
