Marie Guhr

Marie J. Guhr, 95, of North Newton, died Jan. 6, at Kidron Bethel Village, North Newton.

Born July 17, 1914, at Hillsboro, to John and Maria (Jantz) Bartel, she was a registered nurse.

On July 11, 1943, she married Henry Guhr at Hillsboro. He died April 18, 1995.

Survivors include two sons, Leon of Moundridge and Royce of Independence; two daughters, Wanda Justesen of Hartford, Conn., and Rita Rogers of Newton; seven grandchldren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday morning at West Zion Mennonite Church, Moundridge.

Burial was Saturday afternoon at Lehigh Mennonite Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kidron Bethel Village and Hospice Care of Kansas in care of Moundridge Funeral Home.
