Aug. 21

Officers responded to a report of a civil dispute. A civil process was served. A theft report was taken. Officers met with a concerned citizen regarding a child custody dispute. A welfare check was conducted.

Aug. 22

Officers picked up found property and returned the found property to the owner. Officers also attended a meeting.

Aug. 23

A parking complaint was checked. Officers met with the city attorney Keith Collett regarding complaints. Officers responded to OASIS for an out-of-control student. A child custody case was discussed with a concerned parent. Officers responded to a fight in the park. They also assisted a Sheriff’s deputy with a 911 disconnect.

Aug. 24

A pick up and detain order was served. A transport was conducted. A dog-at-large was picked up. Officers responded to a business alarm. Backup for a Kansas State Trooper was provided. A runaway report was taken. Officers responded to an underage drinking party.

Aug. 25

A civil process was served. Officers responded to a call of a hay bale in the roadway. They assisted Hillsboro Police Department with an investigation.

Aug. 26

A civil stand-by was conducted. Officers responded to a child custody dispute. An anhydrous ammonia leak was checked. A noise complaint was checked. Officers returned found property to the owner. Officers responded to a business alarm. A report of a dog bite was taken.

Aug. 27

Officers responded to a 911 disconnect. They met with a concerned citizen regarding child custody. A harassment report was taken. Harvey County Sheriff’s office was assisted with an investigation. Officers responded to a possible fight.

Officers responded to a business alarm.

Aug. 29

Officers assisted with “Bucks for Buckles.” Officers responded to a non-injury accident. Officers met with the county attorney regarding cases. A possible DUI was investigated. An elderly person with a blown breaker was assisted.

Aug. 30

A junk vehicle complaint was taken. A parking complaint was taken. Officers assisted with a fire call.

Aug. 31

Officers responded to a report of nude man at September Apartments. Officers responded to a child custody dispute. An arrest warrant was served.

Thursday

Officers responded to a dog-at-large complaint. Officers responded to a civil dispute.

Friday

A report was taken of possible sexual abuse. A search warrant was served. Officers responded to an injury accident. A dog-at-large was picked up. A theft report was taken. A harassment report was taken. An identity theft report was taken. Officers responded to juveniles shooting fireworks. They responded to a non-injury accident.

Saturday

A parking complaint was checked. Officers checked a complaint of juveniles ringing doorbells and running. Officers assisted Sheriff’s Deputies with a possible fight.

Officers issued 17 warnings and made eight arrests.
