Officers worked on reports; conducted vehicle maintenance, traffic stops, follow-up investigations, and vehicle identification number inspections; and worked on reports.

Sept. 18: Officers worked on a park project and met with a concerned citizen.

Sept. 19: Officers patrolled school zones, responded to a baby locked in a car, picked up an abandoned bicycle, conducted a civil standby and assisted Marion County Emergency Service with a call.

Sept. 20: Officers patrolled school zones and responded to a dog-at-large complaint.

Sept. 21: Officers patrolled school zones, served a civil process, conducted follow-up on an animal complaint, met with the city attorney regarding cases, and attended a meeting.

Sept. 22: Officers patrolled school zones, attempted to serve a civil process, responded to a domestic dispute, and met with a citizen regarding a civil dispute.

Sept. 23: Officers patrolled school zones, served a civil process, and responded to an injury accident.

Sept. 24: Officers provided traffic control for the Old Settlers’ Day parade, took a hit-and-run accident report, and responded to a noise complaint.

Sept. 25: Officers served a civil process and found an open business door.

Sept. 26: Officers met with a concerned citizen, and assisted the Marion County Sheriff’s Office with a marijuana cultivation investigation.

Sept. 27: Officers patrolled school zones, conducted a walk-through at Marion High School, met with an individual regarding child custody, and served a civil process.

Sept. 28: Officers patrolled school zones, responded to OASIS for an out-of-control student, picked up a dog at-large, conducted traffic control for LifeTeam, and assisted with a fire call.

Thursday: Officers patrolled school zones, and attended training.

Sept. 30: Officers patrolled school zones.

Saturday: Officers responded to a dog at-large and responded to an injury accident.

Officers issued eight warnings and one notice to appear, and made one arrest.
