Mary Jane Funk, 71, of Hillsboro, died March 15 in Hillsboro.
Born Dec. 17, 1939, in Tampa, to Joseph and Mary (Dirks) Unruh, she was a homemaker and a volunteer at the Etcetera Shop in Hillsboro.
On Dec. 28, 1959, she married Nelson Funk in Tampa. He died in 2009. A son, Steve Ray Funk, also preceded her in 1976.
She was a member of Trinity Mennonite Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Denise White of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Larry Unruh of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Jean McCool of Paola and Janice Eitzen of Newton; and two grandchildren.
Services were Sunday at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro. The Rev. Corey Miller presided.
Burial preceded the service at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
Memorial funds have been established with the church and the Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
