Raymond and Eunice Janzen Matz will celebrate their 70th anniversary June 22.

They were married in 1946 in Hillsboro, where they have lived ever since.

Raymond owned Matz Upholstery for 61 years. He also was a rural mail carrier.

Eunice was a high school secretary for 26 years and later served at Hillsboro Senior Center for 15 years.

The couple have four children, Rick Matz of Wichita, Ray Matz of Olathe, Reg Matz of Hillsboro, and Eydie Fellows of Newton; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
