Maurine Martens, 94, died Dec. 29 at Salem Home, Hillsboro.

Born May 9, 1915, northwest of Lehigh to Peter and Marie (Loewen) Stubby, she was married Nov. 23, 1936, to George Martens in Abilene.

Her husband and two sons, Milford Wayne and Richard Gene, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Clifford of Decatur, Ala., and Kenneth of Inman; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro with the Rev. Randy Smith officiating. Burial will be at Lehigh Mennonite Cemetery in rural Lehigh.

Memorial funds have been established with the Diabetes Association and the American Cancer Society.
