Meet mayoral candidates with Lifelong Learners
Staff writer
Hillsboro mayoral candidates Lou Thurston and Charlotte A. Kennedy-Takahashi will be sharing their thoughts on the city at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church.
They also will be participating in a question-and-answer period.
This is part of Tabor College’s Lifelong Learning program, and will take place at 9:45 a.m. Friday in the church’s activity center.
“I am excited to invite the community to have an opportunity to interact with our mayoral candidates in an intimate setting,” said Tabor College’s Lifelong Learning coordinator, Analisa Defiesta.
Registration at the door is $5. Lunch in Tabor’s cafeteria is available for a discounted price of $4.
