The City Commission has passed an ordinance forbidding bicycle riding on the sidewalk of any paved street and on the sidewalk up and down the hill from the Presbyterian church to Main St.

The young men of the Baptist church are making more improvements in their rooms in the basement of the church. They are putting in a 45-foot bowling alley. Members of the young men’s class will be divided into squads, and a tournament will be played.

Otto Schmersey returned yesterday from the Montana land drawing. He says he had a great trip and returned with his pockets bulging with $1.39.

Ronald Good had his arm broken by a kicking engine while trying to crank an auto Monday morning.

E.W. Hoch will deliver the opening address tomorrow at Kansas State University.

The Christian ladies aid society will have a food exchange Saturday at Williams meat market. A good place to get supplies for Sunday.
