Retailers want shoppers to “go green” by purchasing reusable shopping bags through a program sponsored by the retail sales committee of Marion Chamber of Commerce. Bags are printed with “Shop Marion First” messages and encourage shoppers not only to use the cloth bags instead of plastic or paper but also to shop at home.
The 2008-’09 Marion High School boys’ basketball squad will feature seniors Luke Gordon, Mitchell Leppke, and Elliot Hett.
