Signs of the Times: Albert Stenzel has a placard on the front of his Standard station that reads, “Help fight the war on poverty, trade here.” And, Bud Pierce, whose Conoco station is also the B.F. Goodrich store, has one on his window that proclaims his place to be “Little David’s.”
The annual New Year’s Day “wolf hunt” will be held again this year on Jan. 1 at Youngtown. Hunters are to meet at the Youngtown corner at 10 a.m. A noon meal is to be served at Walt Hayen’s by the Happy Hustlers 4-H Club, sponsors of the event.
