One of the great combinations in the 1950 crop of high school football teams is the line of the Marion Warriors. Members of the line include Dale Ecker, Harold Byram, Don Ecker, Ted Heath, Dennis Richards, Robert Kline, James Miesse, Eugene Christensen, Earl Grimes, Don Hayen, James Propp, and Ralph Richmond.

Sunday, Nov. 12, the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Marion celebrated its 50th anniversary. Several special programs were planned for the day.

Cub Scout Den mothers meeting Friday included Mrs. Edward Good, Mrs. Lynn Christensen, Mrs. Ruben Winter, Mrs. Ed Rittel and Mrs. Amos Henry.

Four students from Marion are enrolled at the University of Wichita for the fall semester. They are George Shields, son of Mrs. Eleanor Klein; Donald Kirchner, son of A.L. Kirchner; Loyette Hollar, daughter of Frank L. Hollar, and Donna Christensen, daughter of Chris Christensen.

Summer suddenly ended when people woke Friday morning to find a blanket of snow over everything. The temperature dropped to 25 degrees and there was about a quarter of an inch of moisture.
