Mennonite museum sets annual meeting
Goessel’s Mennonite Heritage and Agricultural Museum board members will learn about a historic local trail when they meet at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at Goessel Mennonite Church.
The session will open with yearly reports and budget approval.
The main portion of the program will be a presentation by Brian Stucky on the Cherokee Trail, a transcontinental Gold Rush trail that passed one mile south of Goessel.
Stucky is president of the Friends of the Cherokee Trail and published an article in the November edition of “Wagon Tracks,” the Santa Fe Trail Association’s magazine.
