Mexican restaurant closes
Owners switch to operating tire and detailing business

After six years running a Mexican restaurant in Marion, the owners of Cazadores are closing their restaurant and opening a tire and detailing shop.
Jonathan and Leora Ramirez have operated a similar shop in Kansas City for three years.
The business sells and repairs tires, wheels, and accessories. It also offers detailing and motor cleaning but doesn’t do auto repair, Leora said.
The business will operate in a garage attached to the back of the Main St. restaurant building. The couple began selling tires there last week.
“We can auto detail there,” she said.
The Ramirezes are trying to decide what to do with the restaurant portion of the building.
“Six people want to buy the building,” Leora said. “One couple from out of state wants to purchase the building and put in an Italian restaurant.”
Leora said the Ramirezes would like to rent the building — newly remodeled and fully equipped as a restaurant — to someone interested in running a restaurant that will fit in Marion.
Appointments can be made to have work done in the shop by calling Jonathan at (316) 272-2598 or Leora at (316) 734-1075.
