Mildred Hamm

Services for Mildred Hamm, 83, Tampa, who died Saturday at Hillsboro Community Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Durham.

Committal will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Durham Park Cemetery. Relatives will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Born Feb. 5, 1938, in Newton to Curtis and Elizabeth (Gronau) Padgett, she married Gus Hamm on June 6, 1959, in Florence.

He survives along with son Randy Hamm of Leawood; daughter Sharon Schrag of Lindsborg; sisters Betty Ireland of Florence, Edna Malmgren of Overland Park, and Mary Shillcutt of Issaquah, Washington; brother, Bill Padgett of Flatrock, North Carolina; and three grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with the church.
