Arriving Friday to spend Mothers Day weekend with Roy and Nadine Davis were their children and their families: Larry and Eileen Schmidt and Kasey and Hiram and Rhonda Wedel and Brayden. They and the Rick Koehn family had dinner Saturday at Durham Park. That evening they were the Koehns’s supper guests. Sunday, the group had dinner at a restaurant in Abilene before the Wedels left for their home in Iowa and the Schmidts returned to Mississippi.
Connie Becker was surprised with a birthday picnic supper Tuesday at King Memorial Park in Hesston. LaVae Koehn’s birthday was also honored. Attending from here were Wendell and Linda Wedel, Roy and Nadine Davis, Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys, and Greg and Charlene Wedel and family as well as uncles and aunts of Travis and Connie Becker.
Mother’s Day dinner guests of Travis and Sharon Koehn were Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Loretta Wiebe, and Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family.
Stopping by Sunday afternoon and evening at the Ron Unruh home with Mother’s Day wishes were Warren Unruh and Jenna, Lon and Deb Hiebert, Jim and Brenda Enns, and Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah.
Lola Redger was guest of honor for a family supper Sunday at a Newton restaurant.
Merlin and Karletta Wiebe were hosts for a birthday supper Sunday for Beth Wiebe. Guests were the Anthony Wiebe family, Aaron and Janessa Herbel and Kade, and Mike and Mitch Rhodes and family.
Dining Sunday at the home of Jason and Sheri Wiebe were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Jasper and Joni Zeiset and Kelton, Louise and Rayletta Ratzlaff, Katie Schmidt, Katlyn Unruh, Luke Wiebe, and Ed and Leanne Plett and Maria.
Supper guests Tuesday at the home of Mike and Mitch Rhodes were Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Terry and Robyn Shultz and family, Katlyn Unruh, Katie Schmidt, Tonja Wiebe, and Emily Entz.
Merlin and Karletta Wiebe dined Sunday at the Anthony Wiebe home.
Those attending a Mother’s Day picnic Sunday at Marion’s Central Park included Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Lela Wedel, Mike and Mitch Rhodes and family, Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family, Ken and Shelli Giesbrecht and Taylor, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, and Terry and Robyn Schultz and family.
Spending the weekend in Kansas City were Mark and Barb Unruh, Sarah Unruh, Logan Ryff, and Josh and Katlin Hendricks and Jayden. All attended the wedding of Andrea Bartel, daughter of Ron and Brenda Bartel, and Taylor Loewen, son of Wendell and Shelly Loewen, all of Hillsboro.
