Eight Hillsboro musicians, with the rest of the Tabor College Symphonic Band, will perform April 23 through May 2 at seven locations in Kansas and Nebraska during the band’s annual spring tour.
The band, under the direction of Richard Cantwell, will perform in a variety of venues before ending its tour with a concert at 4 p.m. May 2 at Tabor College Chapel-Auditorium. The flute ensemble, trombone choir, and pep band will also perform.
Hillsboro band members are Darren Enns, trombone and string bass; Caleb Phillips, bassoon; Elissa Richert, contrabass clarinet; Aaron Stepanek, trumpet/timpani; Kelsey Unruh, alto saxophone; and David Vogel, trombone/claves.
