Nellie Jost

Services for Nellie Jost, 93, who died Sunday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at French Creek Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

Relatives will receive friends 5 to 7 tonight at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Born May 3, 1929, in Hooker, Oklahoma, to Bernard and Barbara (Loewen) Hamm, she married Norton Jost on Sept. 3, 1950, in Adams, Oklahoma.

He died in 2004. Brothers Alvin and Ernest and sisters Rosena, Betty, and Charlotte also preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons Richard Jost of Goessel and Russell Jost of rural Hillsboro; daughters Jolene Reiners of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Corrine Dyck of Inman; Carla Harmon of Durham; and Kris Jost of Newton; brother Michael Hamm of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister Frieda Kidd of Everett, Washington; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with the church.
