Neoma Flaming

Services for Neoma Fern Flaming, 82, who died Saturday at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community in Buhler, were Tuesday at the retirement community’s chapel.

Burial was in French Creek Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

Born March 19, 1940, in Hutchinson to Frank and Martha (Franz) Peters, she married Lester Flaming on June 23, 1958, in Hillsboro.

He survives along with son Les Flaming of Denver, Colorado; daughters Tammy Heidel of Hutchinson and Jannita Reiss of St. Albans, Maine; brother Virgil Peters of Colorado Springs; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Open Door Pregnancy Care Center in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
