Neva Adelia Peterson, 98, Burdick, died Sunday at Salina.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hebron Lutheran Church, Burdick. A private family inurnment will be later.

Peterson was born Aug. 29, 1917, to Otto V. and Corrine E. (Gellart) Anderson, in Burdick. She graduated from Burdick High School in 1936. She married Roy Peterson Dec. 9, 1939, in Newton. She was a member of Hebron Lutheran Church, Burdick, and was active with the women’s group. She cleaned the church for many years.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Peterson; three sisters, Irene Schild, Margaret Rust and Linnea Riggin; two brothers, Leland Anderson and Paul Anderson; and her husband.

She is survived by a son, Larry, of Granby, Colorado; a daughter, Candice Deneault, Salina; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandsons.

Memorials can be made to the Hebron Lutheran Church, Burdick.
