No foul play suspected
Marion police say no foul play is suspected in the death of a 49-year-old man found dead at his parents’ Marion home Wednesday afternoon.
Marion police, a sheriff’s deputy, ambulances from Marion and Hillsboro, and Marion firefighters were summoned to the home after Tony Steele’s brother found him dead at 4:18 p.m.
Officer Duane McCarty said Steele was house-sitting while his parents were out of state.
His brother had dropped him off and then returned to check on him about three hours later, finding him dead.
