Harvest started June 21 and continued through about July 1, and the long work days meant less socialization than usual. However, the wheat yields were good.

Jasper and Joni Zeiset of Chickasha, Okla., are spending a number of weeks helping with harvest. Additional weekend guests June 29 and 30 were Gladwin and Lisa Smith of Cimarron. On June 29, the Smiths attended Karisa Jost’s wedding at Hesston. The group were dinner guests June 30 of Mark Wiebe and family.
Larry and Wanda Koehn and Titus, Marlin and Bethany Wiebe and Jessami, Heath and Tannis Dirks, and Quinton and Dianne Unruh and Jessie had dinner and fellowship June 23 at the home of Clayton and Bethany Wiebe.

Birthdays of Nelson and Kaylee Koehn were celebrated. Kaylee turned 10 years old.
