Harry and Sheryl Rhodes hosted a supper May 8 in their home to honor Mother’s Day. Guests were Harry and Lela Wedel, Ron and Jenelee Becker, Kelly and Karleen Kohn, Darrel and Donita Rhodes, and Warren and Jane Unruh.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe were honored guests at the Travis Koehn home with the Calvin Wiebe, Nelson Wiebe, and Wayne Wiebe families.
Dale and Kathy Jantz hosted a supper May 7 for a school fund-raiser. Their guests were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Mitch and Carol Unruh and family, Warren and Jane Unruh, Leonard and Dianne Peachy, and Harry and Sheryl Rhodes.
Palmer and Lucille Base ate dinner May 9 with Kenny and Judy Hall, Michael and Lisa Hall and family, and Conrad and Cathryn Hartman at a Salina restaurant.
Rick and LaVae Koehn had dinner May 9 at Rick’s brother’s home at Burns with the rest of the Koehn family.
Wendell and Linda Wedel hosted a dinner May 9 at a restaurant for Linda’s family. Guests were her mother, Naomi Mayeskea, Linus and Barb Schultz, the Anthony Schultz family, and Carlos Schultz of Fredonia; Ron and Margaret Jantz of Burns; Allen and Ann Mayeskea, Murray and Amy Schwind, and Bev Mayeskea of Newton; Travis and Connie Becker and Garrett and Greg and Charlene Wedel and family.
Visitors of the Ron Unruh family May 9 were Jerald and Kaylene Unruh; Warren Unruh, Kyle, and Jenna; Jim and Brenda Enns; and Mark and Barb Unruh.
Larry and Wanda Koehn entertained family May 7 with a birthday supper. Guests were the Travis and Sharon Koehn and Dalton and Lorna Wiebe families. Birthdays for Titus Koehn and Lorna Koehn were celebrated, as was Jaci Koehn’s fourth birthday. The Tim Koehn family did not attend because they were visiting relatives in Canada.
Mark and Kris Wiebe hosted a dinner May 9. Guests were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, and Melvin and Elvera Penner of Rosenort, Manitoba. The Penners are Sheri’s parents and are visiting the Wiebes. After church May 9, the Wiebes, Penners, and other friends were guests for refreshments in the Ransom Wiebe home. Lola Redger went to Newton May 9 and met Ray and Lisa Redger. They took Lola out for Mother’s Day.
