The Durham Senior Citizens met for a noon potluck dinner on Oct 24 at the community building. In the absence of Gary and Lila Unruh, Joan Harmon and Joyce Medley were hosts. A group of 15 people ate the meal and visited.
On Oct. 27, Larry and Wanda Koehn went to Newton and took Larry’s sister, Lena Koehn, and Margie Jantz out for supper. This was in honor of Lena’s Oct. 26 birthday.
Jarold and Rhonda Koehn invited Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, Harlan and Sherry Koehn and Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys to be their dinner guests on Oct. 28.
Those that went for dinner Oct. 28 at the home of Warren and Jane Unruh were Monica Ratzlaff and children, Terry and Robin Schultz and family, Chet and Mellissa Boehs and Kaylyn, Roy and Nadine Davis, and Tim Davis.
Enjoying dinner on Oct 28 at the home of Larry and Wanda Koehn were Louise Ratzlaff and Rayletta, Jason, and Sheri Wiebe and family, Stuart and Lea Isaac and Kyle and Chelsea Koehn.
Errol Wedel, brother-in-law of Clayton and Betty Wiebe, was married to Darlene Koehn at Montezuma on Oct. 28. Going to the wedding were Clayton and Betty, Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family and Ransom and Lillian Wiebe. Loretta Wiebe of Kentucky also joined the Wiebe family.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe spent Oct. 27 overnight with her sister Anita and Ken Schmidt and visited there in the afternoon before returning home that evening. The Wedel’s will make their home in Arizona.
