A birthday dinner for Harry Rhodes and Terry Schultz was Feb. 3 at the home of Harry and Sheryl Rhodes. Guests were Lela Wedel, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Ken and Shelli Giesbrecht and Taylor, Darrin and MeriKay Rhodes and family, and Terry and Robin Schultz and family.
Wendell and Linda Wedel and Greg and Charlene Wedel and family were guests Jan. 27 of Travis and Connie Becker. They celebrated Wendell and Linda’s grandson Garret’s 6th birthday. Other guests were the Dean Beckers and Marlin Beckers. On their way home, Wendell and Linda stopped at the home of Roger and LuAnn Mayeskea of rural Newton to visit with their nephew Kale Giesbrecht from California.
Guests for a pizza supper Feb. 1 in the home of Terry and Robin Schultz of Roxbury were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Mark and Kris Wiebe, Lance, and Luke, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, Arlyn and Kalynda Wiebe, and Louise Ratzlaff and Rayletta.
Richard and Charlotte Wiebe invited Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Ken, and Sandy Wiebe, Warren and Jane Unruh, and Teresa Wiebe for dinner Feb. 3.
Marcel and Wendy Unruh invited Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Ken and Shelli Giesbrecht and Taylor, Danielle Koehn, Benji Wiebe, and Mishayla and Tonja Wiebe to be their supper guests Feb. 1.
Travis and Sharon Koehn had a dinner Feb. 3 at their home; guests were Dave and Carlyon Yost, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, and Tim Davis.
Wanda Koehn attended the memorial services for her uncle David Becker on Jan. 28 at Scott City. The Beckers lived in the community many years ago.
Gene Redger passed away Feb. 2. Services were Feb. 5 in Newton and burial was in Peace Valley Cemetery.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe attended memorial services for Dessie Johnson, 99, on Feb. 2 at Lone Tree Church, rural Canton.
