A potluck dinner March 27 at the Durham Community Building attracted 25 senior citizens. Betty Youk and Joanne Garringer were hostesses and provided spring decorations.
Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family spent the Easter weekend with Justin and Rebecca Wiebe in Bloomfield, Iowa.
Brian and Angela Unruh, Megan, and Elizabeth of Hardensburg, Ind., and Byron and Rebecca Thomas and family were dinner guests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe on March 29.
Dale and Kathy Jantz, with help from Troy and Marla Wiebe, put on a fundraiser supper for Cottonwood Valley Christian School on March 28. Guests were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Warren and Jane Unruh, Doug and Starla Koehn, Harlan and Sherry Koehn, Aaron Herbel, Jordan Wiebe, and Benj Wiebe.
Family of Ron and Dora Unruh came home March 31 for a family dinner. Guests were Jim and Brenda Enns, Lon and Deb Hiebert and Matthew, Mark and Barb Unruh, Katelin, and Sarah, Josh Hendricks, Warren and Anita Unruh, Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna, David and Ashley Enns and family, and Darren and Corina Enns. They had an Easter egg hunt in the afternoon.
Roy and Nadine Davis left on March 28 to visit Hiram and Rhonda Wedel in Cantril, Iowa. They stopped in Columbia, Mo., to visit Calla Wengar on the way. They returned home April 1. Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys also left on March 28 and stopped to visit Rick’s sister at Hiawatha before visiting the Wedels.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe invited Jarold and Rhonda Koehn and family and Harlan and Sherry Koehn to be dinner guests March 31. That evening the family of the Wiebes had supper in their home, including Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, and Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family. They also celebrated Travis’ birthday.
Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and Janessa hosted a dinner on Easter for Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Mark and Kris Wiebe, Lance, Kayla, Luke, Jasper, and Joni Zeiset of Chickasha, Okla., Bryan and Rebecca Unruh, Brian and Angela Unruh, Megan, and Elizabeth, and Josh Koehn.
Larry and Wanda Koehn hosted a dinner on March 31 for Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family, Howard and Iris Eck, Kara, and Dianna, Havill and Lena Koehn, and Margie Jantz of Newton.
